Moms, Dating, and Relationships
Moms, Dating, and Relationships – whether you are a new mom or an empty nester, a busy mom to active teens or a divorced mom navigating the dating waters, there are a lot of great ways to make sure you are taking time for yourselves and your husbands or partners!
On this episode the Moms share their thoughts and experiences on Moms and Dating.
“ When we think about being and empty nester or not having to get sitters I think about it all the time when one of the kids are having a tantrum, say Erica Lopez. We look each other (husband) and say I still like you and I can’t wait to hang out with again because these little ones are driving us crazy!”
Saritha Arellano offers the idea that a date night can be a lunch date or take out after the kids have gone to bed. It’s ok that it’s different especially when you have younger children.
“There’s all these things happening with the kids and that takes up all of your conversation says Patti Miglin, and then you are by yourself and this is kind of weird what are we going to talk about?”
As their children changed so have the parents. From a single twenty-something woman to be married, having children, a divorce, dating with children and then empty nest. It’s being able to grow yourself and your relationship together. And, the Moms recognize it’s a journey.
