Through a variety of programs and services focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Naperville YMCAs unites men, women and children. These programs, regardless of age, income or background, aim to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation’s health and well-being and provide opportunities to give back and support our neighbors.
The Y’s “Strong Kids Campaign” kicks off on March 19th. This annual campaign allows the Y to provide financial assistance to youth and families in need, It also focuses on never turning anyone away for an inability to pay. The Naperville YMCAs provide more than $400,000 in assistance every year. Every dollar that is raised in Naperville stays in Naperville providing assistance to life changing programs like summer day camp, before and after school care (Safe N Sound Program), swim lessons, early learning and so much more.
A highlight of this year’s campaign will be taking our “Fore the Kids” Golf Outing indoors in early May. On Thursday, May 9th at Mistwood Golf Dome in Bolingbrook golfers will be able to play Pebble Beach in a great indoor setting. Mistwood has the largest indoor installation of Toptracer technology in the nation. This same technology is used at PGA Golf Events.
