Naperville Junior Woman’s Club

njwcFounded in 1967, the Naperville Junior Woman’s Club (NJWC) has been supporting each other and the community through friendship and service for almost 50 years.

Their mission is to:
* Provide hands-on service and philanthropic donations to those in need.

* Educate the community.

* Give volunteer assistance to other philanthropic organizations.

NJWC provides each of its members the opportunity for fulfillment and contribution each in her own way with the whole greater than the sum of the parts.  Some of their accomplishments include educating approximately 1,700 children during Safety Town Summer Sessions each year and giving more than $30,000 each year to other local not-for-profits in need of donations.

Membership is open to all women (regardless of age, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, handicapped status, or national origin) who possess an interest in, and a commitment to, volunteerism.  The entire club attends nine General Meetings a year held on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Although all Juniors work on a variety of projects through the year, each member can choose where to focus their efforts.
