Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties

The Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. (JLKD) is affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues International.

The JLKD is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Their vision is to train volunteers to serve women and children (ages 0-5) living in poverty through strategic programs in the areas of education, health and shelter. To that end, they work on a wide variety of programs each year; many in support of community partners.

The membership of the JLKD is diverse and inclusive. It’s open to all women who value the mission of the organization and who:

  • Are at least 21 years of age at the start of their New Member period
  • Have an interest in voluntarism
  • Reside in or near DuPage, Kane, Kendall or Will Counties
