A Man In Recovery Foundation was started by Tim Ryan. It’s primary mission is to help heroin and opiate addicts and their families. Tim believes the most effective approach is to help one addict at a time, guiding that person to see a life from dope to hope.
Tim is an expert on the subject of addiction. He lost nearly everything to heroin—including his own son. It was in prison that he found recovery—and a passion to help others. Today, he is one of the nation’s most in-demand speakers and consultants on the topic of addiction—and a tireless activist for recovery. Tim Ryan is known as “The Hope Dealer” for his gift of inspiring change in the hearts of addicts—and speaking to the real solutions in the opioid epidemic.
The foundation focuses on awareness, prevention, community outreach, resources and local forums. They will offer intervention referral services at no cost to the family, run addiction support groups for both addicts and families, offer aftercare services and sober coaching.
Tim and his son, Max, participate in speaking engagements, educational programs, consult with local and nationwide treatment centers, and offer discounted treatment services for those who cannot afford them. Further, if a family loses a loved one due to an overdose, the foundation will unhesitatingly provide that family with emotional support, courage and other necessities during their devastating time in need.
