NSW Coach Interview // John Corrigan, Benet Academy Girls Basketball

When he graduated from Benet Academy in 2002, John Corrigan had just seen the Redwings win their first ever team state championships, with Benet boys soccer winning in 2000 and 2001. Now a history teacher at his alma mater, Corrigan has seen first hand the school evolve into an athletic powerhouse. After assisting the Benet boys basketball team, Corrigan switched to the girls team when head coach, Joe Kilbride took over. In his first two seasons as an assistant, the Redwings have two girls basketball state championships.

Corrigan sits with Nico Haeflinger from Naperville Sports Weekly to discuss the incredible two year run for the Redwing girls, and why a three peat is not out of the question.
