In the history of District 204, nobody has left such a deep imprint at each of the three High Schools across the district in the field of athletics than Bob Vozza. A member of the Waubonsie Valley athletic Hall of Fame, Vozza thrived on conference and regional championship teams as a student athlete at Waubonsie. He then moved on to an assistant coaching position at Neuqua Valley High School for over a decade. Finally, he became the first Varsity basketball coach in the history of Metea Valley. After picking up career win number 100 this season, Vozza decided to step down from coaching to spend more time with his family. Kevin Jackman has more about the impact of Coach Vozza’s tenure and his reasons for walking away.
