Waubonsie Valley undefeated, sitting 6-0 as they welcome Neuqua Valley in to their gym. The wildcats are 3-1 and look to hand the warriors their first loss.
Waubonsie’s Ben Schwieger really making a name for himself early as the pass comes up and he guides it in to the hoop to open up scoring 2-0.
The warriors moving around on the inbound, Marcus Skeete finds space and shoots the three ball for WV to regain the lead early 7-5.
And heres goes Schwieger again… still in the first quarter, game all knotted at 9s until Ben scores his first of four dunks on the night.
Opening minute of the second quarter, Waubonsie’s Ihaiah Smith brings the ball in alone and gets a fancy looking basket to fall along with the and one, Warriors lead 15-11.
Third quarter action now, Neuqua’s John Poulakidas finds space in front and fires off the triple to cut in to the warriors lead, 30-21.
Waubonsie moving full speed ahead as the pass is fired to Schwieger who sees his lane and slams in the one handed dunk, 34-23 WV now.
Neuqua Valley not going away though. Doovan Navarro brings the ball in all alone past the WV defense and lays it in, cats trail 34-25.
With time running out in the third, Waubonsie Adri Malushi scores a three pointer buzzer beater from distance. Warriors lead 46-30 going in to the fourth.
But the cats instantly respond in the final stanza, Connor Davis finds himself with a lot of time and takes the shot. Neuqua trails 46-33.
Time running out and here is Schwieger again for his fourth dunk of the night and his second one handed too as the warriors go on to handle the cats, 53-38.
