Naperville Central took 2 out of 3 games in the regular season series, but Neuqua Valley looks to win with the season on the line.
The Wildcats would take the initial lead before a throwing error by Jake Wenz tied the game at 1. Wenz would bounce back though driving in Tyler Cristofaro to once again put Neuqua on top 2-1 in the third.
After Central tied it at two, the Wildcats retook the lead on RBI hits by Tim Scneider and Cristofaro.
In the bottom of the seventh, Central needed a pair of runs to keep the season alive. Conor Joyce drove in Connor Gurnik to make it a 4-3 game. Later, Beau Buchanon tried to score on a ground ball, but Max Vercautren threw him out at the plate. Neuqua Valley gets the upset win and the regional title.
