Naperville North is off to its best start (3-0) under head coach Sean Drendel. The Huskies with a chance to start the season with four straight wins for the first time since 2008.
It was all Huskies in the first half. Naperville North scored three rushing touchdowns by three different running backs to take a 21-3 lead into halftime.
Lake Park responded in the second half, scoring 20 points, including three touchdown passes from Jackson Behles to Tyler Davis.
But the Lancer surge just a little too late. The Huskies hang on, winning 28-23 to remain unbeaten.
