It’s rivalry week in Naperville and we hit the link with two valley schools squaring off. Metea Valley and Waubonsie at Springbrook where the mustangs look to improve from the last time these two teams saw each other as Waubonsie celebrates senior night.
Speaking of senior, WV’s Emily Skowronski starts her day off on the first hole with a short par putt to keep her even early.
Also on the first hole, Metea’s Abby Terada just misses her birdie but makes the short tap to grab par.
Moving to the fourth hole, Metea Valley Karizma Bodhanwala settles in to a nice drive that lands her on to the dance floor. She taps in for par and finishes with a 50.
Also on the fourth hole, Grace Angelides just off the green but her chip shot alomost lands her the bird! She taps in for par and finishes with a 44 on the day.
Over to the 7th hole back with Terada, driving. She bounces on to the green and would again tap in for par helping her finish with a 47 on the day.
The best on the day though would be Emily Skowronski from Waubonsie. The senior going for the long birdie but and gets excited when she nails it, helping her to a low 35 and helping Waubonsie to the team win on senior night, 169 to 195.
