Metea Valley on the road at Neuqua to start the season. Mustangs 0-6 all-time against their District 204 rival. The Wildcats offense expected to be one of the most dangerous in the state.
Right out of the gates we find out just how good they could be. Cameron Raupach bounces a run in the first quarter to the outside, showing a burst of speed for a 25-yard gain. That set up Jack Bastable for a 12-yard quarterback keeper for the touchdown.
From there on out, he was tough sledding for Metea Valley. Neuqua racked up 240 yards on the ground as the Wildcats made a big statement with a 35-7 win to start the season.
