The boys and girls of Naperville North, Waubonsie Valley, and Benet Academy take part in the Gus Scott Invite.
On the girls side, Naperville North, as expected, dominated the distance races including first, second, and third place finishes in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.
One of the bright spots of the day was Benet Academy junior pole vaulter Ali Munson, who set a new PR while also breaking the meet record with a clear of 12′ 3″.
The Huskies won their home invite with the Warriors and Redwings finishing in fifth and sixth respectively.
For the boys, Waubonsie Valley got a strong showing from last years state qualifier, Tyler Kirkwood in both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. Naperville North’s Kristoffer Heinz also got a win in the high jump, while also helping the 4 x 400 relay team hold on to a second place finish as the anchor.
