Naperville Community Unit School District 203 has 16,500 students attending 22 schools across Naperville, Bolingbrook, Lisle and Woodridge. The district’s goal is to ensure each student receives a first class education and graduates well prepared for their next phase of life – whatever that may be.
Beginning in the 2017-18 school year, the district will implement a new Social and Emotional Learning Curriculum throughout their schools. In this interview, Dan Bridges, Superintendent of Naperville 203, is joined by Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, Dr. Christine Igoe, and Madison Junior High Counselor, Stephanie Charvat, who explain how the district is paving the way for Social Emotional Learning across the country.
