Young Professionals of the Naperville Chamber gathered for their 10-year anniversary at Bobak’s Signature Events.
The group works to develop relationships and professional skills for the next generation of business and civic leaders.
Attendees got a chance to mix and mingle over dinner and hear success stories from members who have grown over the years with YPN.
“I remember our first meeting when there was only 15 people. You had to stand up say your name and your business and I did that, and I sat down and went to take a sip of my coffee and I was shaking so bad just from that,” said Member, Cathy Subber. “You fast forward a couple years and I’m giving a keynote speech to 500 people in tuxes and gowns.”
Many cited the numerous networking events throughout the year as a key part of their development.
“The chamber has just been great for me, not only professionally but personally. I built a lot of friendships and built a lot of business,” said Emily Erickson, Co-Chair of Young Professionals.
