Young entrepreneurs had the chance to show local investors what they’ve got.
24 Naperville area middle and high school students presented their business plans to members of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event, held at North Central’s Wentz Concert Hall, was part of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA).
Participants presented their plans to prominent professionals in the community in hopes of securing funding to make their ideas a reality.
“Being apart of this will help our public speaking skills, make us better communicators and give us the ability to put our dreams into action a lot quicker,” said YEA participant Cat Bradley.
This was the first time the YEA members competed against each other for funding of their projects.
