A great way to get moving and enjoy the outdoors this season is through the Wednesday Walking Club.
This is the third year for the Naper Settlement program, which encourages people to come together and get some exercise around their 12-acre campus. As per the name, walks take place on Wednesday mornings from 8-9am.
“It’s a beautiful place to walk and it does make you motivated to walk for the entire hour, which I probably wouldn’t do on my own,” says Naperville resident, Julie Cunningham.
People choose their own pace and route through the museum grounds with the option to include the Riverwalk. It’s a great chance to be social and reduce stress, while logging minutes to earn rewards for Naper Settlement programs.
And best of all, the weekly walks are free and require no registration.
