Things got pretty rocky Saturday at the 13th Annual No Holds Barred Rock Climbing Competition at Vertical Endeavors in Warrenville, where participants came together to climb for a cause.
This year carries the “Thrifty Throwdown” theme and attendees were encouraged to bring in gently used clothing to donate to Hesed House and Rush University’s Mobile Medical Van.
Over 150 competitors had the chance to climb to the top of the wall. From novice to advanced, a variety of routes were available to fit every climber’s ability.
Winners in 11 different rockin’ categories received thrift shop prizes.
