The real reason behind Halloween for folks at Trick-or-Treat Safety Town is to have fun all while being safe.
Dressed in their favorite costumes, hundreds of little ones got a chance to trick-or -treat early this season.
A safety preparedness talk reminded parents and children how to safely enjoy the spooks that come with Halloween.
“Kids can understand the safety precautions of not eating candy if it’s opened, or going to abandoned houses, having a buddy to go trick-or-treating with, having a light and taking precautions for safety around this time of year,” said Meredith Sonetz, Safety Town Coordinator.
Kids learned about giving back too, by donating money and non-perishable food items to benefit Loaves and Fishes.
