SKF, a multinational manufacturing company, has announced they will no longer be moving to their planned location at the corner of Warrenville Road and Lucent Lane.
The 135,000 square foot facility was originally proposed under the code name “Project Panda” and was approved by City Council in August of 2014.
A slowdown in business has been cited as the main reason for canceling the development, which could have brought up to 200 new jobs to Naperville.
The company still has a long-term lease on the property, but is hoping to sublease in the near future.
