It was double the fun for kids, as two museums in Naperville teamed up to present a day of play.
DuPage Children’s Museum and Naper Settlement joined together to host Naperville plays, which featured activities for children to enjoy.
“This is the first time this has happened where we have done a coordination with the DuPage Children’s Museum, we are two museums both located in Naperville, however, we are not competing, we want to show that we are here for the community of Naperville and we are working together,” said Anna Di Cosola, Learning Experiences Coordinator at Naper Settlement.
The event was held at Naper Settlement and both museums gave kids and parents a fun way to learn the history of Naperville.
Families visited the Blacksmith Exhibit; tasted butter made the old fashioned way and even got a chance to play at the new Playscape.
After a long day, everyone enjoyed free ice cream sundaes and laid out on the lawn to enjoy the musical performances.
