The Naperville Park District recently invited the public to weigh in on some upcoming changes.
A community open house was held in the lobby of the Naperville Municipal Center, to give residents the chance to see the park district’s proposed capital improvements for 2015, and make comments.
“It’s just an opportunity to get our input from the community and take the input back and incorporate it in our designs and then use that to build our projects next year for the Naperville Park District and the Naperville community,” said Eric Shutes, Director of Planning for Naperville Park District.
Changes are ahead for ten parks, including Ashbury and Ranchview, which will receive updates to their tennis courts.
Hunters woods, where the playground, sidewalks and shelter will be renovated.
And Knoch Knolls park, whose Dupage river trail is due for development.
You can check out all the projects at napervillepark.org and share your feedback with the park district until august 25.
