Users will be able to register for a program on their mobile devices thanks to the new ACTIVE Net online registration system.
“It’s a completely new online registration process, completely new software from what we’ve had for about the past 15 years. It allows residents a lot more ability to be able to search for programs, manage their accounts, and really brings it to the next level as far as online registration is concerned,” said Brad Wilson, Director of Recreation at the Naperville Park District.
Aside from being able to search by age and location, participants can save classes on a wish list, receive registration reminders and connect to Facebook to invite friends to join a program.
Parents can also keep track of their family’s activities all in one place.
“Part of our mission is enriching the quality of the lives for the residents here in Naperville and so we see this as the ability to be able to bring the programs and services that we have to our residents in a better format,” added Wilson.
The new system is currently available to preview and will officially go live for registration on March 7.
