A familiar face is coming back to Hesed House.
Ryan Dowd, the group’s former Executive Director, is returning in the same position next month.
Dowd had been at the homeless shelter for 14 years, nine as Executive Director, when he left in 2013 to found the Center for Faith and Human Rights based in Washington D.C..
The board announced the decision at a recent board meeting. Associate Director Neil McMenamin will serve as Executive Director in the interim.
Ryan Dowd’s first day back is February 8.
