For the third time since mid-August, DuPage County Forest Preserve Commissioners have approved a contract for the district’s next Executive Director.
Oak brook resident, John Lapinski was voted into the position yet again on September 23. The third vote by Board Commissioners were necessary after changes needed to be made to Lapinski’s start date.
Originally, he was set to begin on October 1, but had to push that back to December 1 because of a medical issue.
Lapinski was hired after former Director, Arnie Biondo was put on paid leave and then stepped down to take an early retirement.
