AWEsome AIR at DCM

AWEsome AIR, formerly known as AirWorks, is now open to visitors.

The new and improved exhibit has something for kids of all ages.

Features include their “Airways Jungle,” windpipes and a compressed air game, which are all meant to teach children how air works.

“We want children to translate the idea that air can fill spaces, it can move things, push things, help to generate energy, and that’s done through a very hands on experiential learning,” said Kimberly Stull, Director of Exhibits and Operations at the DuPage Children’s Museum.

AWEsome AIR is part of the museum’s larger AWEsome ENERGY initiative, which represents over 20 years of research.
