Anderson’s Bookshop hosted a visit by a budding new “paw-thor.”
Lola the therapy dog visited the bookstore to share tales from her two books, “Lola Goes to the Doctor” and “Lola Goes to Work,” stories about perseverance, compassion and overcoming fears in life.
The photo-books are put together with love by Lola’s human helper, Marcia Goldman.
“I think there’s a little message in each book that hopefully resonates with the kids and the parents, and then the photographs of her of course the children love,” said Author Marcia Goldman.
Kids and families were welcomed to the event to listen to stories and join Lola for some crafts.
After the fun, the author signed some of her books, and even Lola joined in, signing some “paw-tographs.”
The duo also shared that their new book, “Lola and the Tattletale Zeke” that will be released in the spring of this year.
