A downtown staple now has a new look, new management and a new menu.
Back in October, Jimmy’s Grill owner Jim Bergeron turned his restaurant over to new management.
The “new” Jimmy’s is a casual fine dining atmosphere with a family friendly feel.
“Jimmy’s Grill has been an iconic restaurant for 19 years on the corner of Washington and Chicago,” said Donny Greco, Food and Beverage Consultant. “It is a beautiful patio setting and we’d like to take that to another level and offer wonderful food and drink and atmosphere all year round. It’s one of the best locations in all of Naperville. We want to keep on the food and great food for the Naperville community to enjoy.”
Jimmy’s now features craft beer and great whiskey. As for the food, it is now all from the farm to the table.
“I love supporting local businesses, so why not take that to my job and bring local farmers that are in the area and are working hard and creating great products,” said Travis Rodriguez, Executive Chef. “We’re not shipping it from Mexico or California. We’re bringing it from right around the corner.”
Greco says there are plans in the works to revamp the patio but are taking it one “bite” at a time and will unveil plans in the springtime.
