Parents recently learned about ways to keep their children safe in today’s digital world.
360 Youth Services and Kids Matter hosted the event, which addressed how to create a safe online environment for kids and teens, to avoid cyber bullying.
President of Act on Bullying, Officer Jeff Bean, gave parents tips like becoming active on social media sites and remaining engaged in their children’s lives.
“It doesn’t matter if they’re two, 12, they want you to watch them, spend time with them. Just show an interest in them,” Bean explained.
The night kick started a month of events about how our digital footprint matters.
