The Naperville Jaycee’s Last Fling is upon us, marking 50 years of tradition. But this year there will be some changes added to the celebration.
Space on Rotary Hill should be easy to come by as officials are closing most of it off, providing access at the top of the hill and across from the municipal center on Eagle Street.
And a new service includes a way to help inebriated flingers find their way home.
“There will be a taxi hub, it will be across the street in the Naperville Central parking lot turnabout,” said Pete Paulsen, head of logistics for the 2015 Last Fling. “That’s for our patrons who may have consumed a little too much, and feel the right thing to do is take a ride home, which we highly recommend you do. That’ll be there starting I think at 9-11pm cabs will be lined up.”
This is also the Fling’s first year to have an Army Fun Zone located at Family Fun Land at Naper Settlement.
A Jaycee information tent will be located on the corner of Jackson and Eagle Street during the Fling for more information.
