Summer Movies

The summer movie season is already off to a super start with Captain America Civil War. But the Avengers aren’t the only group of super heroes we’ll see on the big screen.

At the end of the month the X-Men are back in X-Men Apocalypse.

“We have the mutants back, this time they are battling the first and great mutant, Apocalypse. So we’ll look for returning James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence,” said Marketing Manager for Classic Cinemas Ogden 6, Mark Mazrimas.

Good guys aren’t the only ones banding together at the movies.

“Little bit of a different twist on the superhero movie here, this is DC Comics most vile villains that have been in prison. You always wonder – at the end of the these movies what do they do with all these bad villains – well they throw them in prison and every once in awhile they get a case and need these ‘baddies’ and let them out of prison and that is the Suicide Squad,” said Mazrimas.

Old friends return this summer from the deep blue sea.

It’s been 13 years since we were looking for Nemo, and now we are going to be Finding Dory. Marlin and Nemo are looking for Dory in this deep sea animated adventure and of course Ellen DeGenerous is back as Dory,” said Mazrimas.

To foes from outer space.

“Now they’re coming back with bigger space ships – I don’t know how many times Earth can be destroyed. But Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman recreate the roles from the first one and the same director so look out for Independence Day Resurgence,” said Mazrimas.

And even beyond the grave in Ghostbusters.

And it wouldn’t be summer without a couple of lighthearted comedies.

“Mike and Dave are looking for wedding dates, so it’s Zac Efron and Adam Devine playing two bad brothers and whose parents tell them they have to find respectable dates for this big wedding coming up. Zac Efron is shirtless and very buff also in Neighbors 2. So he is very buff for the ladies with two movies this summer,” said Mazrimas.
