Kids in the pediatric center at Edward Hospital got a chance to feel the force.
Celebrated on May the fourth, Star Wars Day, is an opportunity to celebrate all things associated with the franchise.
In honor of the holiday, members of the 501st Legion brought a little cheer to those in the pediatric center, sporting movie-quality costumes.
“It’s got a lot of meaning to it, you know you go in and see a kid’s face light up and the smile and even the parents, you know I am a parent too and it just they are like ‘wow’,” said Rex Fett, a member of the 501st.
Boba Fett, a Jedi, Princess Leia and a Jawa visited guests, took pictures and handed out toys.
