A local golf course is getting some upgrades thanks to suggestions from residents.
Starting August 1st , construction will be underway at Springbrook Golf Course’s practice facility.
Revamping and expanding the driving range and practice greens are all part of the $400,000.
“Over the last few years our members have spoken up and mentioned they’d like to see improvements around the golf course, most notably the practice facility. So we are going to be working on our driving range and practice greens and moving around some things to expand our driving range and practice greens,” said Kevin Carlson, Superintendent of Golf Operations for the Naperville Park District.
Practice areas will be closed until the first week of September when construction is expected to be complete.
The golf course plans to open a little earlier next year to make up for lost time.
