Naperville’s Little League Baseball just scored a big deal for their upcoming season.
The league announced their partnership with the Chicago White Sox, who will provide about 3,600 new jerseys, 4,000 hats, all new batting helmets and an educational program on concussion awareness.
The partnership is the largest of its kind in Illinois and also allows players and coaches additional instruction at the Bulls/Sox Academy.
Other good news, the little league will now host more night games on the five lighted fields in Naperville, giving every player their moment under the spotlight.
Coaches will also receive certificates from the positive coaching alliance to help them develop better players on and off the field.
