Sheep Sunday was in full effect at Naper Settlement with lots of wooly activities.
“Behind us are the sheep herding demonstrations from heather hope farms we also have a ton of kid activities and other people who are here to demonstrate spinning wool and fibers and what kind of wool is used for what sort of things,” said Kate Klemchuk, Museum Educator at Naper Settlement.
Wool carding stations were also on hand, for kids to try it themselves.
The event was hosted this weekend because sheep are mostly sheered during this time of the year so that their wool can be used to make winter items.
