State Rep. Darlene Senger is being eyed as a likely contender for U.S. Representative in 2014.
Senger reportedly met with the National Republican Congressional Committee officials and Congressional Republicans from Illinois about challenging Bill Foster in the next election.
Senger’s camp has quietly unveiled a new website where supporters can follow her new campaign.
Foster beat out veteran Congresswoman Judy Biggert for the 11th District that includes Naperville in 2012.
Republicans blamed Democrats for gerrymandering the map to tailor a district Democrats could win.
Senger’s camp has confirmed she attended a meeting in Washington D.C.
We called Senger for comment, but she was on the House floor and couldn’t speak to her campaign activities.
Senger also previously served on the Naperville City Council before becoming a State Representative.
