One local State Representative says her work isn’t done. State Representative Darlene Senger recently announced she’ll be running for election in the newly created 41st House District that covers a large portion of Naperville and some areas of Warrenville.
Senger currently represents the 96th House District, but the House and Senate boundary lines were redrawn earlier this year to reflect changing populations after the 2010 census.
“Naperville is my home and I live still in the district,” said Senger. “I feel good now to represent even more people in Naperville.”
The upcoming primary will be Senger’s third time running. She’s represented the district in Springfield since 2009.
