Tonight a Naperville man’s effort to raise money for cancer research culminated with a party at Quigley’s Irish Pub.
For his 56th birthday, Pat Travis ran 56 miles in 56 hours starting on Thursday while supporters donated roughly $6,000 to the cause. He’s giving the money to the Livestrong Foundation and Jack Kicks Cancer, a not-for-profit Wheaton resident and a cancer survivor himself Jack Blake, Jr. created in honor of his own father who died of cancer.
