Less than a week after two explosions took the lives of several and injured many at the Boston Marathon, a business here in town has garnered support from the community by selling t-shirts.
Naperville Running Company sold out of their “Runners for Boston” T’s in just over an hour, selling roughly 500 of them.
While the local business came up with the idea and design, the shirts are being sold in running stores around the country.
100% of the proceeds of each $20 shirt will go to “One Fund Boston”, a charity endorsed by the Boston Athletic Association to aid the victims of the bombings.
Though the shirts are sold out for now, Naperville Running expects to have more available for sale within the next few days.
