A local restaurant could be getting a revamp.
The Naperville Park District is throwing around the idea of improving the Riverwalk Eatery.
Currently, the restaurant serves fast food such as wraps, hot dogs, ice cream and nachos.
The possibility of expanding the food menu as well as including alcoholic beverages was discussed.
“How can we get more use out of the facility, how can we make it more appealing to the community get them to come out to the Riverwalk and enjoy the scenery that’s there, so we’ve been talking about a few ideas,” said Director of Recreation for the Park District, Brad Wilson.
The idea was brought up at a recent Riverwalk Commission meeting, but no action has been taken.
Most recently the Riverwalk Eatery introduced their winter hours to offer a hotspot for sledders to warm up and grab a bite while having fun on Rotary Hill.
