At the latest Riverwalk Commission Meeting, the board discussed the possibility of serving alcohol at the Riverwalk Eatery.
Under the current proposal, the alcohol would potentially be served during specified times of the year and would have to be consumed in the Riverwalk Eatery or on the patio, which would change to be an enclosed area.
They aren’t the only ones in the area seeking a license – Walgreens has also been pushing for a permit to sell alcohol in their downtown location.
Both groups must be approved through City Council before going on to serve and sell liquor.
