The Naperville Park District’s Riverwalk Café, opened back in June.
What was once a concession stand in the middle of the Riverwalk is now a premiere destination for a quick bite to eat and drink.
“We’re more of a convenience, we are not really trying to compete with anyone. If you’re walking along the Riverwalk you can stop in for a glass of wine, a beer, an appetizer and be on their way. So we are more of a convenience for everyone,” said Terry Washington, Food and Beverage Manager for the Naperville Park District.
In addition to beer and wine, the café offers a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, something that has encouraged those visiting our city’s crown jewel to check it out.
“The Riverwalk Cafè has been a tremendous success a very popular destination on the Riverwalk. We’ve seen thousands of visitors come through since opening in early June,” said Director of Recreation, Brad Wilson.
The Naperville Park District is celebrating 50 years this year.
