Remembering Emily Driscoll and Quincy

To honor the memory of Emily Driscoll and her dog Quincy who were both struck and killed by a car while crossing the street in November of last year, community members and the driscoll family got together for a day of giving.

“We’re having a memorial blood drive for Emily Driscoll, her family donates blood with us so we asked if they would like to do a memorial blood drive for her,” said Maria Hebb, Marketing Representative for Lifesource.

“It started to snowball and her employer is Sky High Jump donated a gift card which is for one hour free jump to anyone who donates blood today.”

Greyhounds Only, Inc., which is where Emily rescued her dog, also held an adoption event at PetCo.

And to top it off, Culvers of Aurora donated 10% of the days proceeds to the rescue and adoption group.

Driscoll is remembered by family and friends, as a young woman who was full of life.
