Jessie yang, who took computer programming classes at Naperville Central, created an app called Redhawk Recipes.
“I think what’s really special about the app is that it uses Senior food recipes from our Senior foods course at Naperville
Central, and so I think that’s pretty cool, so any of the students that’s in that class could download the app and have them write it down on their phone,” said Yang.
It was a four month long process to create, and now features 15 different recipes with step by step directions for people to check off as they’re cooking.
Redhawk Recipes is free to download on any Android device.
