One Naperville pub recently turned into a barbershop.
At Crosstown Pub & Grill, 45 people had their heads shaved for St. Baldrick’s. The charity is committed to finding cures for childhood cancers.
Shavers age three and up, both male and female, raised money and went bald. This year marked the sixth time Crosstown has held a St. Baldrick’s fundraiser.
“Everybody in some way has been touched by cancer,” said Jim Nichols, Owner.
In addition to the shavings, there were also raffles, a silent auction, and live entertainment.
The event raised more than $13,000.
