Kids grabbed their passports for an all access trip around Safety Town.
As part of their journey around the miniature town, kids received stamps for each station they visited.
Destinations included a crash test demonstration, stressing the importance of seatbelts, as well as an electric station; teaching the kids the dangers of electric boxes and wires around town.
In addition to the safety information, kids were able to familiarize themselves with safety vehicles and even got to use a real fire hose.
“As many times as I try to tell my kids, look both ways before crossing the street, wear your helmet it’s helpful for me to have another person, an authority figure, tell them its important to do this” said Seth Goldstien, a Naperville resident.
The annual event was put together by the Illinois Crime Prevention Association and the Naperville Police and Fire Departments.
