Neuqua Valley students celebrated the grand opening and re-openings of their virtual businesses.
The business department’s three virtual companies Spectrum, Legacy, and Affinity all held ribbon cuttings earlier this week.
Students, parents and board members were invited to a meet and greet with the students who completely run their own companies.
It’s all part of Virtual Enterprise International (VEI) a nationwide high school curriculum the district started using last year, to help develop students’ business and professional skills.
“Were pretty lucky that our district has been so innovative in thinking and the way we approach our programming for students. Obviously from what you see here and our other high schools in the district its cutting edge,” said the District’s Curriculum Director, Jill Hlavacek.
