The city has announced its new leader for the Transportation Engineering Development Business Group, or “T.E.D.”
William Novak will be the group’s new director, filling the vacancy left by Marcie Schatz who left the position to become the deputy city manager.
City staff created T.E.D. in 2001 as a group that oversees infrastructure maintenance and expansion projects throughout the city.
Novak has been working with the city since 1992 with his most recent role being city engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
His new position takes effect immediately.
