Whether it’s food, drink or retail, Downtown Naperville will have new options to offer for every type of shopper.
“There’s always something new in Downtown Naperville, isn’t there? But this summer were seeing even more new openings then last summer, so it’s a very exciting time,” said Katie Wood, Executive Director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance.
Looking to grab a bite to eat? Head no further than Washington Street.
There you can find Savory Spice, a spice and seasoning store, and Board and Barrel, a premier wine and cheese shop.
Just down the way at the Water Street District, Blue Sushi Sake Grill will offer up Asian inspired dishes while 64 A Wine Bar brings a taste of wine country to Naperville.
“You can taste they’ll feature 64 different wines, that you can choose to have a small taste of each different one that you put on a prepaid card, so it’s going to be a neat new concept for Naperville and we hope that people come and enjoy that,” added Wood.

“So it’s a brand new expanded Starbucks, its called Starbucks Reserve, it will be located at Main and Jefferson, the existing Starbucks at will be closing moving over to the new Starbucks and that should be open later this summer we’ve heard,” said Wood.
Finally, if you’re in the market for clothes, Downtown Naperville has new options in that department as well.
Hannah Anderson, a children’s boutique recently opened on Jefferson Avenue and for those a bit older, Home Grown Honey Boutique is now open on Main Street.
“Home Grown Honey Boutique is a fun new apparel store that will be located on the second floor on Main Street near Little Luxuries and it’s a neat apparel boutique that primarily caters to a 19-24-year-old shopper but they’re a newcomer to town and we are delighted to have them,” said Wood.
