Naperville teens now have a place to call their own.
NaperBridge, a not-for-profit that brings together teens, recently opened their downtown Washington Street facility to the public.
Amenities include lounge areas, TV screens for video games, and work spaces.
The group hopes this new facility will help them better fulfill their mission of providing a welcoming, safe place for Naperville teens to belong, create, perform, learn, play and be empowered in a values-driven environment.
“It’s a welcoming, safe place in the middle of downtown Naperville,” explained Andy Jack, NaperBridge’s Executive Director. “It gives students the chance to walk in after school or come on the weekends to hang out. It gives them a place to just be, and that’s what we wanted to offer them.”
